We were supposed to change history. I couldn't think of any good ideas I wanted to do and this one just came to mind. What if Godzilla had been a Fish instead of a Lizard.
First off, composition. It is obvious that the shirt is a template and you just slapped a design on it. You should make the background of your design the same color as the shirt. This will make the shirt more fluid and aesthetic. You can't sell a design like this when the composition isn't well done. Check Snorg, Busted Tees, Threadless, or any other shirt design website and take note of how they present their designs.
Second, it's a good concept, but it could probably be executed better. The character alone should tell the story. Think about have no text on the shirt. Could the illustration speak for itself? In this case, it probably wouldn't. It would be pretty funny, but not a likely concept to be guessed.
Third, the font choice could use some work. I assume this is Times New Roman or similar. While this font looks great for documents and such, it is not intended for a design like this. I'd suggest trying to find a font style that really speaks to the design and the message you are trying to get across.
